There is a simple shortcut to do this!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During\u00a0any slide show on a PC, the <strong>Ctrl+S<\/strong> action (<em>holding down<\/em> the <strong>Control<\/strong> key <em>while<\/em> pressing the letter <strong>S<\/strong>) will\u00a0bring up\u00a0a <strong>list<\/strong> of all of your slides.\u00a0The list below is from a sample, 8-slide, presentation:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-789\" style=\"background-color: #ffffff; border: none\" title=\"ppt-popup-slide-box\" src=\"http:\/\/medianet-ny.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/ppt-popup-slide-box.jpg\" alt=\"ppt-popup-slide-box\" width=\"223\" height=\"309\" srcset=\"http:\/\/medianet-ny.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/ppt-popup-slide-box.jpg 223w, http:\/\/medianet-ny.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/ppt-popup-slide-box-216x300.jpg 216w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 223px) 100vw, 223px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this example, except for slides 6 and 8, the words\u00a0appearing next\u00a0to the slide numbers represent the actual text typed into the <strong>TITLE<\/strong>\u00a0area on the sample slides. Your own text will appear, depending on whether you use a slide layout\u00a0that contains\u00a0a\u00a0<em>Title<\/em> <em>placeholder<\/em>. If you used a blank layout or did not use the title placeholder, the name will simply appear as &#8220;Slide #&#8221;, where\u00a0# is the actual slide number, as noted in slides 6 and 8 on this sample list.<\/p>\n<p>When you bring up the list, the current slide is highlighted (slide 3, in this example). If you want to jump to a specific image, you can scroll\u00a0the complete\u00a0list to find the slide you need. Highlight the slide and\u00a0then click the\u00a0<em>Go To<\/em> button to display the selected visual.<\/p>\n<p>The advantage of this list is that you can also see any <em>hidden<\/em> slides, which are shown on the list with the slide number enclosed in parentheses.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nThe key to making this list useful is to be able to <em>identify<\/em> the slide\u00a0using some context or meaningful description; that is, by using the title placeholder. If every slide-name on your list\u00a0just says &#8220;Slide&#8221;, then you would have to know all the slides by <em>number<\/em>.
